Ljubljana, 16th May 2011 – Sixth AcademY exposed lobbying. The topic is interesting and current but too often misrepresented. The guests, Rok Praprotnik form Anti-corruption commission and registered lobbyist Andrej Drapal shone a light to the topic, also in spirit of the new integrity and anti-corruption law. The debate was moderated by Blaž Ravnikar, director of the Ypsilon Institute and the guests agreed that lobbying has to be supported and encouraged while keeping it based on integrity. This is the only was lobbying can serve it’s purpose: civil influence on decision making processes.
