Ljubljana, 16th May 2011 – Sixth AcademY exposed lobbying. The topic is interesting and current but too often misrepresented. The guests, Rok Praprotnik form Anti-corruption commission and registered lobbyist Andrej Drapal shone a light to the topic, also in spirit of the new integrity and anti-corruption law. The debate was moderated by Blaž Ravnikar, director of the Ypsilon Institute and the guests agreed that lobbying has to be supported and encouraged while keeping it based on integrity. This is the only was lobbying can serve it’s purpose: civil influence on decision making processes.

Ljubljana, 28th March 2011 – Fifth education organized by AcademY hosted Ksenija Benedetti, Chief of Protocol of the Republic of Slovenia, who excited the whole audience with her knowledge about protocol. She proved to be an excellent guest, mastering protocol rules through years of experience. She therefore offered an unique insight in the world of protocol and shared many interesting stories.

Ljubljana, 14th February 2011 - Fourth AcademY presented experienced speakers Bogdana Herman and Ida Baš who presented bases of good public speaking to the young. These skills are not only useful for public speaking but also in interpersonal communication and keeping successful relations, which was also a topic, more than appropriate for Valentine ’s Day.

Ljubljana, 17th January 2011 – Third AcademY’s education held the title: Be an entrepreneur and build your own personal brand. The young listened to four top lecturers: Blaž Kos, MSc. Edita Krajnović, MSc. Aleš Lisac and Breda Tesner. They come form different fields but they each presented their tricks which integrally contribute towards building successful entrepreneurship.

Ljubljana, 6th December 2010 – Second AcademY’s education was lead by Blaž Suhač. He introduced 12 Natural Laws of Success to participants and turned his attention to especially to responsibility and showed that changes are a long-term process.

Ljubljana, 8th November 2010 – Prof. dr. Janek Musek and Ksenija Špiler Božič opened the first of The Ypsilon Institute’s AcademY educations titled Grown-ups wold and life in it. They hosted instructional, interesting and also fun education and workshop for the young participants, where they learned many new information. Through fun and practical exercise they also realized that there is no real recipe to tell you how to successfully enter the grown-up world.
